Format of Input Sequence

Only one protein sequence can be inserted for a given query.
The sequence can be divided into any number of lines. Spaces are ignored.

All pasted characters are considered part of the sequence, therefore BEWARE not to include sequence annotation or any other "non-sequence" information.

Valid characters are a-z and A-Z only. Illegal input will result in an error message

NOTE: The 20 letters coding for the 20 amino acids have a valid energy score value. All the others (B,J,O,U,X,Z) are accepted, but they get an artificial very high energy score which will rank any peptide with those characters very low.
